Materials Congress 2008 – Materials for the Future
Materials Congress 2008 was held in Grantham, Lincolnshire on 13-15 May 2008. It was the sixth in a series of major materials conferences organised by the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining. The first Congress was held in 1998.
Congress once again brought together materials scientists and engineers, representatives from industry, government and the media to update and debate the science, design, engineering and technology of materials, minerals and mining and their practical applications.
